Tundra Remote Door Lock Reprogram

Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons for five passes.

Each set represents one pass. If you are programming multiple remotes repeat step 8 for each remote within 40 seconds of step 7. After 10 seconds push the same lock unlock or panic button on the transmitter twice within 10 seconds. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed.

Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second. With the driver s side door open. Then press the lock button for up to three seconds and release.

Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1 5 seconds. Within 5 seconds insert the ignition key again and turn it to the on position. Release the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for two seconds. Press and release lock or unlock button.

Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1 5 seconds. Within three seconds the locks should cycle once to show that it the procedure was successful. Insert the ignition key and remove it. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds.

Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press and hold the lock button by itself. You should hear a beep letting you know that the procedure was done correctly. Quickly insert and then remove your key from the ignition switch. Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters.

Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new remote simultaneously for 1 1 2 seconds. The door should lock and unlock. Change the position to door make sure all the doors are shut and that your shift lever is set to park put the key in the ignition and turn it so it is set to on once you are in the on position and before 5 seconds has passed push down the door lock switch on the driver s side keeping it down for 5 seconds. Within 10 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming.

Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds. Close and then open the driver s side door. If they cycle twice repeat this step again.
