During particularly cold or particularly hot months your upvc door may have contracted or expanded slightly causing it to not close properly.
Dropped door this is probably the most common reason why your upvc won t lock when closed.
Pry up on it until it comes loose and remove it.
Once you ve checked the door and frame make sure you have a look underneath the door.
What happens is that the locking points and keeps misalign making the door harder to open and close.
